Adanced Searching
Last time I covered basic Boolean search in Google.

Going little more deep with searches in Google:-
THE OR , intitle, inurl and Site Syntax
You could put a fancy " " (pipe character) instead on "OR"

java javascript (jms OR "mq series")
java javascript (jms "mq series")

TEST:- Find out why it shows less results when "OR" is used in lowercase.

As a recruiter searching for resumes :- filtered search = better chance of hitting the target
and on of the most help would be "intitle" and "inurl" which Restricts your search to the titles of web pages and to the URLs of web pages
so our strings changes too (intile:resume OR inurl:resume) java javascript (jms "mq series")

TEST:- Find why the same string doesn't work for altavista

Next important syntax is "site:"

It narrow your search by either a site ora domain- why a recruiter should know this?
It's a great way to find employee homepages, staff directories and bios hidden inside a site. Many companies place such information on their sites,so they can refer select clients to those pages or allow offsite employees to access them. Though access to such pages isn't available from the company's homepage, it is available to search engines that examine a site. So using a search engine can find pages you wouldn't otherwise see.
Interested in working with Google -

site: google.com "contract recruiter"

TEST:- Find why the same string doesn't work for altavista (www.altavista.com)- Did I already asked this quest?
