The Restaurant Recruiter would tell you that the The #1 way(Not really) to make sure your resume is not overlooked is by not making spelling mistakes.

I do spelling mistakes many times and thanks to spell checker I am saved many times...few days back while responding to a candidate I misspelled the word "resume" and the few suggestions by MS dictionary were
"résumé"  "résumé"  "resumes"-This got me in to thinking =Eureka----



How many out there might be using the these
formats instead of plain ol "resume".
So am I missing any resumes using only the word resume or CV.. there only one way to find out----
A simple string - +(résumé OR résumé OR resumes) +j2ee +xml  +"new york" -jobs
and compare +resume  +j2ee +xml  +"new york" -jobs..

Try it and you would love the results. Now you know the MS word can help you find more resumes.
