Working Mother Top Ten

Working Mother Top Ten
One of the best things I like working at KPMG is the way the treat people and the felexibility in work environment.
It was no surprise for me when KPMG made the TOP 10 among The 2007 Working Mother 100 Best Companies.
The magazine gave the firm high scores for Time Off and Leaves, Flexibility, Child Care,
Company Culture, and Family Friendly programs and initiatives. I definelty loved the two weeks paid holiday I got when we had our second child this year.
Working Mother Top Ten
  -  Baptist Health South Florida
  -  Booz Allen Hamilton
  -  Ernst & Young
  -  General Mills
  -  IBM
  -  KPMG
  -  The McGraw-Hill Companies
  -  PricewaterhouseCoopers
  -  UBS
  -  Wachovia
What does this mean? These companies listen to their employees--and help them reach new heights every day. These companies do an exemplary job (OR I would say atleast try)of advancing women and helping employees balance work and family.  As competition for the best employees intensifies among companies, being named one of the 100 Best is a valuable recruiting and retention tool.

If you are a working father or mother don't you want to be associated to be with someone who recognize and supports working parents?
The Working Mother 100 Best Companies raises the awareness of the issues working mothers face in the workplace, and encourages implementation of programs to address those issues.
Bravo KPMG and others!!!!!!!!!
