Top 10 - when Candidates / Resumes Annoy me

1) $80/Hr doesn't mean $160K.

2) I won't mind if you don't shake my hand.. really. I know you have to do it but ..

3) Don't bother attaching the cover letter especially on emails. I hardly read them. That goes for "Objectives" as well.
Warning:- Others might like it.

4) Most of us are bad speller and that's why MS has a spell checker - Use it before sending me your resume.

5) I understand you want to be a CEO and that you are very smart but if you have 1-2 yrs experience please don't apply on every positions you see.

5) I really wish but I can't respond to every e-mail even after working 10 hrs a day but surely would respond if I have an update on the interviews or if I speak with you.

6) Don't exaggerate or write half-truths or rather lie (Especially IT). We are a skeptical bunch.

7) Don't want to know or care about your height ,weight or hobbies if they don't pertain to the job you looking for.

8) I understand you are great with graphics and fonts but all you need is a regular font on a print lay out with viewzoom 100% and aligned left.

9)Don't think that I am in this profession for lack of choice.  Most recruiters are smart  and well educated. I really like what I do. Did you seen my qualifications?

10) Have some spine and stick to your word. Avoid saying that you wanted $5K more after the offer.
