LINKEDIN TIP

This tip is courtesy Dave Gombka. A super cyberslueth and a good colleague.

"On linkedin you can see your total reach into a company using the advanced job search feature.  In this example I used capgemini.  When I click on the job posting (incidentally this is for a contract sourcer) you see your total network breakout into that firm.  As long as a company you are searching on is posting on Linkedin, you can view this data."

That's great EXCEPT it's misleading that you can see all those thousands of CapGemini people, because if you actually click on those number links, LinkedIn only shows you a maximum of 500 results per search by default.

Stumbled onto this site, interesting. I was wondering what you guys might think of a little sourcing test. It’s at http://hstrial-sball4.homestead.com/Test.html
Have any of you heard of String Logic?

We’re in the middle of a re-fab of our site and this link goes to the unreleased new site so don’t mind the errors and dead links.

Feel free to email me at JimRS@StringLogic.net
