Diversity- HBCU Another Look

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)
from across the nation (mostly southeast region) were established in the post-Civil War era (1964) as a way to support education for African-Americans with the principal mission of the education of Black Americans.(I think its time to change the mission to Diverse Americans or may be all Americans)

Interesting fact:- The First HBCU: Cheyney University in Pennsylvania (1837)

How about adding HBCU to your string next time you are doing a diversity project?
